Unity Cup: Bonafight CC, Knight XI Thahekhu enter semi-final

Dimapur, Jan. 15 (EMN): Bonafight CC defeated Gorkha XI by two wickets on Wednesday to enter the semi-final of the 5th Unity Cup.

Gorkha XI chose to bat first and put up a total of 88 runs in the stipulated 20 overs with Pintu scoring 20 runs.

Chasing the low target, Bonafight CC won the match inside 18 overs with two wickets to spare.

Biju Das was adjudged Man of the match for his knock of 22 runs and three-wicket haul.

In the second match of the day, Knight XI Thahekhu beat Unique CC by 80 runs to enter the semi-final of the tournament.

Batting first, Knight XI Thahekhu put up a total of 172 runs in 20 overs while Unique CC were bowled out for just 93 runs.

Abura of Knight XI Thahekhu was declared Man of the match for his knock of 76 runs.

The quarter-final match was attended by Joshua, Pastor of Reunion Church Virazouma, Chümoukedima, as match patron.
