Unity College Dimapur held its Annual Sports Meet concluded today. The sports meet was officially declared open by the Administrator, Oren Ovung on February 26, who exhorted the gathering that sportsmanship is not only about being a part of student life and building up characters, but also revealing the character of the self.Four teams – Saturn, Venus, Jupiter and Mars participated in both the indoor and outdoor games. Saturn team was declared the overall champions. While the best disciplined team was awarded to the Jupiter team.
The event is held annually to nurture values such as discipline, team spirit and moral values within the college community.
