Dimapur, September 10 (EMN): The UBCANEI youth department organized an event dubbed the ‘Youth Fiesta’ based on the theme “empowering the youth #No turning back.” The programme was conducted from September 7 and till the 9th at the Youth Oasis Centre in Dimapur, updates stated on Sunday.
The speakers of the camp Rev. L. Hevuto Awomi, Moses T Fithu and Akumla spoke to the gathering from the word of God, the updates stated. The gathering included around 120 campers attending from UBC churches.
“The three days camp also saw a wide range of activities including song, skit, bible quiz, bible recitation, debates, extempore speech etc among the participants and a very special session with resource persons from YouthNet on 8th Sept who motivated the youth for a better future,” the press release stated.
The UBCANEI has thanked the UBC churches, well-wishers and also who extended support financially, materially, spiritually and morally during the three-day program. Most of all, the press release stated, the organisers are thankful to the Almighty Lord for his grace and providence.
