Tzurangkong students organise literary day programme

Mokokchung, Oct. 15 (EMN): The Tzurangkong Students’ Conference (TKM) organised a literary day programme at Tatar Salang Chungtiayimsen on October 15 on the theme “Perseverance.”

N Asangla Longchar, headmistress of Government High School, Tzurangkong, was the guest speaker of the event. The literary day witnessed competitions in quiz, essay writing, solo, debate and extempore speech.

The competition covered subjects and issues regarding history, current affairs, entertainment, sports, science and technology, abstract thinking, attachment to Ao and Naga culture and traditions, verbal skills etc.

TKM officials informed that the initiative was to bring all the schools and students together under Tzurangkong range to exchange news ideas towards promoting holistic education.
