DIMAPUR, AUGUST 17: Chairman of the Tuensang District Planning and Development Board (DPDB) and Parliamentary Secretary of Municipal Affairs, Economics & Statistic, R Tohanba, along with Kejong Chang, Parliamentary Secretary of Horticulture, DBs’ & GBs’ Affairs, organised a felicitation programme for the awardees of the prestigious Governor Gold Medal and Governor Commendation Certificate on the occasion of Independence Day 2016 from Tuensang district.
The Governor Gold Medal recipients were Er. Moanaro Longkumer, EE PWD (R& B) Noklak Division; Alem Jongshi, Deputy Commissioner, Tuensang; K Soriso Yim, Assistant Commandant, 10 NAP (IR) Zhadima; while the Governor Commendation Certificate recipients were Woncho Odyuo, ADC, Shamator; and K Furhesie Nyewi, SDO( Civil), Chessore.
The programme also saw the felicitation and acknowledgement of the Yimchunger successful candidate at the recently declared NPSC exam 2016. The programme was witness by well wishers, tribal organisations and government officials.
