Wokha, Oct. 1 (EMN): A five-day Christian programme, the Transformation Crusade, in Wokha has concluded at the WTBC. Thousands of youths, elders and parents attended the programme.

Rev. Zotuo Kiewhuo, senior pastor of Koinonia Baptist Church was the speaker for the last day of the crusade.

Speaking from the Word of God, based on the passage Acts 8:5-13, the speaker called upon the people of Wokha to accept Jesus Christ fully without condition and be ‘a good shepherd to feed the people and spread the message of love.’ The reverend called upon the congregation to have faith, when ‘depression and frustration come upon the people who ignore Jesus Christ as saviour.’

Rev. Kiewhuo also said to rejoice in the day that God provided for the believers to witness the love and receive deliverance (Psalms 118:23-24). He said that whoever asks and seeks God ‘receive the gift in true faith as God never forsakes anyone’ (John 15:7).

The speaker then urged the people of Wokha to acknowledge God’s blessing in their professions and to spread the word of God to all. He spoke of God’s blessings in that God has blessed Koinonia Baptist Church’s dedication to save souls.

Misha from the USA who is undergoing a 40-day fasting at Koinonia Baptist Church in Kohima, attended the service and witnessed God’s blessing to the people. She said that the Naga people took a leap from headhunting to becoming true warriors of God; she witnessed to work and live in the faith of Christ.

The Transformation Crusade team in Kohima and Y Chumbethung Murry, youth director of WTBC thanked the church and the people who attended the crusade. They have prayed that God will continue to bless the church and his people.

The programme concluded with hundreds of youths dedicating their lives to Jesus and hundreds of people responded and testified healing from various sicknesses.
