Total restriction of movement from Chathe River Bridge to Khuokhi from Nov. 1

Dimapur, Oct. 29 (EMN): To facilitate the progress of the four-lane construction works and in the interest of the public safety, Deputy Commissioner of Dimapur Rajesh Soundararajan on Thursday informed that there will be total restriction of all movement from Chathe River Bridge (Patkai Bridge) to Khuokhi River Bridge from 7 am on November 1 to 5 am on November 2.

The restriction has been necessitated to facilitate speedy completion of works and as a precautionary measure to prevent any injury, loss of life and damage to property, the DC informed.

General public have been asked to take alternative route from Dimampur – Kohima and Kohima – Dimapur (for light vehicles only) via 7th Mile – new DC office – Shokhuvi – Razaphe – Mhaikam – Pimla – Mhainantisi – Jhornapani – Medrziphema and vice versa.
