Mokokchung, Dec. 21 (EMN): Mokokchung is already in its festive December mood with the vibrant ‘XXXI children’s Christmas cake carols competition 2019,’ often described as C5, on Dec 20 evening. This time, the team from Tongdentsuyong fellowship has taken the edition’s top prize.
Thousands of young and old gathered at Mokokchung’s police point to sing carols along with the children.
C5 is an annual competition among members of various fellowships. The event is organised by the youth department of Mokokchung Town Baptist Arogo. The participants compete for a grand prize – a massive Christmas cake. In this year’s edition, the youth department added cash prizes for the winners through a generous donor.
This year, Tongdentsuyong fellowship was declared the winners of the tournament, followed by the teams representing Sunrise fellowship and Aongza fellowship.
