Three arrested with stolen motorcycles

Mokokchung, Aug. 22 (EMN): Mokokchung police arrested three persons and recovered six stolen motorcycles from Zunheboto and Tuensang districts.

An update from Mokokchung police on Sunday reported that six motorcycles were recovered and arrested three persons from Zunheboto district in connection with a case registered in Police Station-II.

SPDO Mokokchung, Chuba Chang, informed that police launched a thorough investigation just after Independence Day celebration and got inputs from sources related to stolen motorcycles recently this year.

The Mokokchung police with assistance from Zunheboto police arrested three persons, who were involved in this case and recovered five motorcycles from Zunheboto and one from Tuensang on different occasions, it was informed.

The arrested persons have been identified as Kakito Yeptho (27), Inapu Kiba (21) and Hito Awomi (30) all from Keltomi village in Zunheboto district.

The recovered motorcycles included Yahama R15; Pulsar RS 200; KTM Duke; TVS Apache RTR 200; Pulsar 1509 DTS-I and Discover 125.
