Dimapur, Feb. 14 (EMN): The president of Nagaland Pradesh Congress Committee (NPCC), K Therie, has claimed that the Nationalist Democratic Progressive Party (NDPP) would merge with the Naga People’s Front (NPF) in view of the latter’s presence in the neighbouring states of Manipur and Arunachal Pradesh.

In a press release issued on Monday, Therie alleged that despite the infighting in the past, the two parties had come together under the United Democratic Alliance (UDA) with a common objective to delay the Naga political solution.

He also claimed that the chief minister will dump the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) if the latter falls at the Centre.

“BJP has no soul in Nagaland. People do not love BJP at all. It is only power and money for now. It is temporary and there will be no legacy,” read the press release.
