DIMAPUR — A two-day football camp and exhibition match under Systematic Voters Education and Electoral Participation (SVEEP) was held at Zunheboto College ground on November 3 and the 4th.
According to an official bulletin, the football camp was organised by the Deputy Commissioner and District Election Office, Zunheboto, in collaboration with Nagaland Sports.
The programme was a SVEEP initiative towards the promotion of voter’s awareness and registration among new eligible electors.
DC Zunheboto, Rahul Bhanudas Mali, in his address, exhorted the students that every vote makes a difference and to strengthen the country’s democracy, it is the duty of every citizen to participate in the election process and vote without being biased or resorting to any unfair means.
