Student bodies mourn passing of DRSU president

DIMAPUR — The Dimapur Naga Students’ Union (DNSU) and the Tenyimi Students’ Union Dimapur (TSUD) mourned the passing of Thankeya Seb, president of the Dimapur Rengma Students’ Union (DRSU).

In a condolence note, DNSU stated that Seb’s tireless efforts for students’ welfare, education, and social justice left a lasting impact.

Noting that his guidance and mentorship inspired many, and his legacy will continue to transform lives, the union extended heartfelt condolences to his loved ones and prayed that his soul may rest in peace.

The Tenyimi Students’ Union Dimapur (TSUD) also condoled the demise of Seb, describing him as a dynamic and humble leader whose dedication and passion inspired many.

Stating that his legacy will live on in the hearts of those he touched, the union maintained that the student fraternity, in particular, and Nagas, in general, have lost a sagacious guardian and leader.

“His absence will leave a huge void, which will be hard to fill up,” it said in a note while offering condolences to the bereaved family members and well-wishers.

The Rongmei Students’ Union Dimapur, in a condolence message, said that Seb’s remarkable leadership, selflessness, and passion for students’ welfare have left an enduring legacy. Extending condolences to Seb’s family, the union said that his unwavering dedication will continue to inspire generations, and his selfless spirit and love for the student community will never be forgotten.
