State Sports Academy in goal rush

Kohima, May 2 (EMN): State Sports Academy thrashed KV Kohima 9-0 in the third match of the ongoing CAPF U-19 Football Talent Hunt Tournament at Kohima local ground on Tuesday.
Kakhevi scored a hat-trick (4th, 15th and 33rd minute) while Purakam and Kitho scored a brace for Sports Academy with Nighato and Vinoka adding a goal each.
In girls’ category, Sweet Poison Club, IG Academy dismantled Christ King Hr Sec School, Kohima 8-0 at IG Stadium. Agheli scored a hat-trick (33rd, 38th and 40th minute) and Vizovono with a brace in the 6th and 14th minute. Akhala, Neichutou, Mhasikhono also scored a goal each for Sweet Poison Club in the second match.
In boys’ category, SAI –STC Dimapur thrashed Don Bosco, Kohima 9-0 at Kohimal local ground in the first match of the ongoing CAPF U-19 Football Talent Hunt Tournament on Tuesday.
Nikedozo scored four goals in 11th, 24th, 55th min and 58th. Thaihan Difoesa, Temsunungsand, Yekivi swu, Huvesu Tetseo and Hangoulentuboi scored a goal each for SAI –STC Dimapur.
State Boys Hostel, Nagaland defeated KV Rangapahar 4-0 in the second match, Niuka found the net in the first minute and doubled his tally in the 23rd minutes. Apongthung and Chalvin were also on the score sheet.
At the IG stadium in girls’ category, Girls sports Hostel, Dimapur defeated Govt High school, Khonoma 2-0. Watijungla and Seyekhreno found the net for Girls sports Hostel, Dimapur.
K V Dimapur draws with Bayavu Hill High School, Kohima in the third match after both the team were unable to find the net during the match.
The tournament has been organised by Assam Rifles, HQ IGAR (North). The tournament was initiated by the prime minister of India Narendra Modi to conduct a nationwide football talent hunt to be part of the mission XI million and in imbibing more passion and creating more platforms for the young football enthusiast of India.
