Dimapur, March 30 (EMN): Nagaland recorded one new Covid-19 positive case on Wednesday, taking the state’s tally to 35,475 and active caseload to 15.
The state’s cumulative recoveries stands at 33, 217 with no new recoveries in the last 24 hours.
The death toll stands at 755 with no new death reported during the same period.
Out of the 15 active cases in the state, 14 are asymptomatic and one moderate on oxygen.
In terms of district-wise distribution of active cases, 12 are in Dimapur, two in Wokha and one in Kiphire; while the remaining districts are currently Covid-free.
India reports 1233 new Covid cases
With 1,233 new coronavirus infections reported in a day, India’s tally of Covid-19 cases rose to 4,30,23,215, while the active cases dipped to 14,704, according to the Union Health Ministry data on Wednesday.
The death toll climbed to 5,21,101 with 31 fresh fatalities, the data stated.
Meanwhile, 1,876 patients have recovered in the last 24 hours and the cumulative tally of recovered patients is now at 4,24,87,410.
India’s Covid-19 vaccination coverage has exceeded 183.82 crore(1,83,82,41,743).
