State employees end stir

Dimapur, March 28 (EMN): The employees of the state government have decided to withdraw their state-wide pen-down strike on two conditions.

In a letter addressed to the chief secretary, CANSSEA president and convenor of State Services Associations, Takutoba Aier, informed that associations had deliberated on the offer made by the chief secretary on Tuesday and ‘decided to accept the offer in principle subject to the following conditions:

• That the government immediately issue notification for implementation of the 7rh ROP notionally w.e.f 1st June 2017 and actual payment from 1st Jan. 2018.

• That the increment be effected from 1st December 2017 on the basis of notional fixation effected from 1st June 2017 and the same be mentioned in the said notification.
