St. Joseph’s College observes graduation day

Dimapur, August 19: St. Joseph’s College, Jakhama, observed its annual graduation day 2016 on August 19 in the college Indoor Stadium with the NLA Speaker, Chotisuh Sazo, as the chief guest.
Divine invocation was said by the Jesus Youth Association, followed by welcome song presented by Peter and friends. Fr. Dr. Sebastian Ousepparampil, the Principal, addressed the gathering and presented the general report of the past year.
The Principal congratulated the graduating students on their achievement. Stating that relationship is the only thing that ‘we will carry till our grave,’ he encouraged the graduates to keep up the relationship with their alma mater.
SJC Dance Club performed spectacular mixed steps to the thrill of the audience.Ms Lily Humtsoe, Assistant Prof. delivered the message to the graduates wherein she stated that graduating is not the end but a beginning. She encouraged them to move forward with greater abilities and never to lose hope in the midst of difficulties. She concluded by wishing them ‘best of luck’ in all their future endeavours.
On the occasion, the college also honoured the various award recipients.
