Dimapur, Aug. 25 (EMN): The Regional Transport Office Kohima has informed that it has resumed its public services relating to registration of vehicles and driving licences.

However, it said SOP on Covid-19 will be enforced in the office premises for the safety of the staff and public; no one will be allowed to enter the office premises without wearing a face mask; and a distance of one meter should be maintained in queue.

To avoid overcrowding, it has provided a temporary customer care service/helpline number (9863028315) so that customers can make appointment before coming to RTO office. “No transaction or application will be entertained in the office premises without prior appointment till such time it is considered safe from the Covid-19 pandemic,” the notification read.

“Services roster will be as follows: Sarathi (driving licence related matters) on Monday and Thursday; Vahan (vehicle related matters) on Tuesday, Wednesday and Friday,” it added.
