Rhythm of Love: In conversation with Street Stories
Street Stories is a three-member band that takes us back to the days of 2000’s pop-punk. Riko, Gideon and Pezo Kronu- originally started from Shillong but are based in Nagaland now. And good news for fans is that the trio are presently working on a full length album and music videos.

Eastern Mirror: Please tell us about the band Street Stories and the role each of you play.
Street Stories: There’s three of us in the band; Riko kronu on the bass, Gideon Kom on the drums and Pezo Kronu on vocals and guitar
Eastern Mirror: How did you all meet and begin the Street Stories journey?
Street Stories: The band was started by the two brothers Riko and Pezo Kronu. Later the drummer Gideon Kom joined the band.
Eastern Mirror: How did the name ‘Street Stories’ come about?
Street Stories: We had an old collage poster of blink 182 in our room and it had the writing street stories on it. So we thought it was a cool name for a band and we stuck with it.
Eastern Mirror: What type of music influences Street Stories?
Street Stories: All the pop punk of the 2000’s. And we trap skrrt!
Eastern Mirror: Do you write your own lyrics? What are the contributions that each of you make?
Street Stories: Yes we write our own songs. Pezo Kronu writes the lyrics, but all the members contribute together in the whole writing process and arrangement of the music.
Eastern Mirror: Working as a group may not be easy as each individual may have different ideas and tastes. Did you face any issues?
Street Stories: Sometimes, we face issues but nothing major so far. We get along just fine and try to work out every problem together.
Eastern Mirror: What is the ultimate direction of the band?
Street Stories: World domination and intergalactic tours.
Eastern Mirror: Street Stories has not released a new music video for a few years now. Any new songs in the pipeline?
Street Stories: Yes, we are working on a full length album and some music videos and many more live shows.
