Dimapur, Jan. 8 (EMN): Member of the Nagaland Legislative Assembly, Azheto Zhimomi, has urged the people to respect the government’s decision and be allowed to do what is right and just for the betterment of the people at large. He was referring to the district demarcation issue of Dimapur and Chümoukedima districts.
Speaking at the 40th annual conference of the Aqahuto Tokukujo Kiphimi Kuqhakulu (ATKK) on January 8 in Zutovi village, Azheto stated that development and progress would come only when people support the government to do good for the public. According to him, respect and regard for one another are important tools needed for the growth of a society.
Azheto also mentioned the sincerity of the state government led by chief minister, Neiphiu Rio, in its effort for a solution to the Naga political issue and to unite all Naga political groups.
Besides, he also encouraged the students to be sincere and dedicated in their pursuit to succeed in life and to always preserve one’s culture and identity. He further reminded the students to always remember the struggles and sacrifices made by their parents to give them quality education so that they might have an accomplished life.
President of Aqahuto Tokukujo Kukami Kuqhakulu, Lughozhe Swu, who also attended the conference, exhorted the students.
