R&B minister inspects inter-state connectivity road in Dhansiripar

Minister for Roads & Bridges (R&B), Kuzholuzo (Azo) Nienu on Wednesday undertook inspection to various ongoing road constructions in and around Dimapur to take stock of the progress.Inspecting the blacktopping and drainage construction work from Tragopan junction till Khermahal up to ADC Court junction, the minister has welcome the cooperation extended by the public to the department to carry out their task without hindrances.
The minister has further urged the public, land owners, house owners and shopkeepers alike to continue extending their support to the department to insure that roads are improved for Dimapurians.
The minister has further appealed to all concern to maintain cleanliness along the road sides so that pebbles and other construction materials do not result in causing potholes along the newly laid road.
Besides the roads in Dimapur town, the minister also paid a visit to Khushiabil wherein, bridge construction is underway.
The minister also inspected NLCPR road construction at Razhephe village and interstate connectivity road at Kiyeto village, under Dhansiripar Sub-division, Dimapur respectively.
The minister was accompanied by Chief Engineer, R&B, D Mero, Executive Engineer, Dimapur, Vizotuo and host of department officials.
Mention may be made here that the minister has been carrying out ongoing work inspections persistently along with department officials to insure that quality is not compromised.
