RARC conducts webinar for Ayush members

Dimapur, June 28 (EMN): The Regional Ayurveda Research Centre (RARC), Dimapur, on behalf of the Central Council for Research in Ayurvedic Sciences (CCRAS), Ministry of Ayush, government of India conducted a webinar on June 24 to sensitise and create links between Ayush officials, practitioners and various stakeholders from Nagaland and Mizoram.

The Ministry of Ayush launched “Ayush Sanjivani,” a mobile application to evaluate the outcome of measures adopted by public for enhancing immunity and keeping themselves safe in these testing times, which has brought the whole world to a standstill, an update read on Friday.

The preventive measures may be as per the Ayush advisory or its other system or herbal medicines.

The webinar was attended by Dr. Adarsh Kumar, AD CCRAS, New Delhi and Dr. Bendangtula, AD Ayush department, Health and Family Welfare.

Dr. Srinivas, RO in-charge of RARC, Dimapur presided over the webinar and presented the aims and objectives of “Ayush Sanjivani” app based assessment study while Dr. Vilas Gangurde, RO of RARC, Dimapur presented on Ayurveda measures of prophylaxis of Covid-19 and Dr. Prabin Kumar Shaw, RO in-charge, CRU (H), Dimapur spoke on homeopathy measures of prophylaxis in Covid-19.

About 35 Ayush members from Nagaland and Mizoram participated in the webinar.
