MOKOKCHUNG — Queen Mary Higher Secondary School (QMHSS) in Mokokchung held a felicitation programme for the successful HSLC and HSSLC candidates at the school auditorium on Saturday with the additional deputy commissioner (ADC) of Mokokchung, Chumlamo Humtsoe, as the special guest.

Speaking on the occasion, the special guest congratulated the successful candidates and advised them to use their intelligence for constructive purpose with love and compassion.

“The education that you received is for the betterment of our people, society and nation. Therefore, remember and contribute in a positive way,” he advised the students.

Stating that everyone is equally important irrespective of their academic performances, he encouraged the students to contribute towards building the society.

Rev. Fr. Simon, principal of QMHSS, shared words of appreciation, while short speeches were also delivered by QMHSS Alumni Association members and Dr. Mar Walling, member of school managing board.

On the occasion, HSSLC topper in Arts, Imlimerenla Pongen; HSSLC topper in Science, Tiatetla Jamir; highest marks scorer in Ao subject, Nungtetmenla; highest score in HSSLC Mathematics, Toshimanen; highest scorer in HSLC Mathematics, Likhuli Sangtam; highest scorers in HSLC Social Science namely Alemkala and Alina Jamir and EVS Akumnaro were felicitated.
