Pughoboto inter-departmental sports meet concludes

Dimapur, April 8 (EMN): The two-day Pughoboto inter-departmental sports meet concluded on Friday at local ground, Pughoboto.

The championship trophy was lifted by Tapu team comprising of PWD, Power, PHED, H&FW, and Social Welfare. In the football final match, Tapu team defeated Khocho team by 4-2. The highest scorer with four goals from Tapu team, Botovi Y Wotsa was awarded a prize, a DIPR update informed.

Ghushisha Vikuto P Sheqi and Shiyeto Z Sheqi Wotsa of Kucho team won the men’s badminton after defeating Tapu team in a 2-0 straight set win.

In badminton mixed doubles, Ghushisha Wotsa and Qhehuli Wotsa from Yeti team defeated Moa Aier and Limugha of Tapu team. In the women’s volleyball exhibition match, Yeti and Khucho team defeated Tapu and Tsuyi team with 25-11 and 25-15 points.

Tiameren Chang, ADC gave away the championship trophy along with certificates to the winners of different games.
