Tuensang, Dec. 16 (EMN):
The Chang Khulei Setshang (CKS) on Thursday organised a public rally in Tuensang to protest the brutal murder of innocent civilians at Oting village in Mon district.

The incident that killed and injured several people on December 4 and the 5th was condemned during the rally.

CKS President Nungsanglemba said during the rally that the Army personnel responsible for the killing of the innocent civilians should be tried in the civil court.

He further claimed that the statement made by Home Minister Amit Shah in the Parliament had no proof.

He further stated that Nagas should strongly uphold the demand to repeal the Armed Forces (Special Power) Act (AFSPA).

Hundreds of people from Tuensang participated in the rally with placards that read “Killing of innocent civilians is crime against humanity”, “AFSPA is not a license to kill Nagas”, “We demand justice, Indian law is equal for all citizens”, etc.
