Dimapur, June 29 (EMN): In a noble venture, personnel of Khuzama Police Station and Khuzama Youth Organisation (KYO) under Kohima district jointly undertook plantation of Rhododendron saplings around the police station on June 29.
The plantation drive was initiated by the Officer-in-Charge of Khuzama police station, RK Patton. All the personnel and the youth members actively participated in the plantation drive held on the theme ‘Nurturing natural beauty.’
According to the Officer-in-Charge, a total of 90 saplings of Rhododendron were planted. The saplings were jointly collected by KYO and Khuzama Police Station personnel from the jungle, he added.
