PMA unveils Naga Talents Promo Season 3

[dropcap]E[/dropcap]NTERTAINMENT group, the Pheto Music Association (PMA) on Thursday launched the Naga Talents Promo Season 3.
Briefing to mediapersons at its new office at Padumpukhuri, Kashito Kiba, MD, PMA stated that the industry is prepared to re- explore the hidden talents in the state of Nagaland by promoting and providing the bigger platform to explore the various talents for further recognition in the near future.
The PMA which was officially recognized in the year 2004 has been promoting the talents of the people of Nagaland since then.
Naga Talents Promo formerly known as Nagas Got Talent event by PMA has seen tremendous response and successful shows since its establishment.
Kiba said that the contestant previous event/show ‘Faith in Action’ the ultimate winner of Naga Talents Promo has outstandingly stood as finalist in the National reality show India’s Got Talent by colors television.
Kiba also informed that PMA along with district co- organizers will begin its 3rd edition of Naga Talents Promo Season -3 from May to October 2014. The contest will be in two categories – individual & group and the total prize money for the ultimate winners will be awarded Rs 3 lakh, Rs 1 lakh to the Individual category and 2 lakh for group category along with proficiency certificates and other gift hampers to all the finalists.
The yearlong event will start with district wise auditions under the co-ordination of district co- organizers which will be followed by elimination rounds and culminate the Grand Finale in the month of October 2014.
Kashito Kiba also said PMA not only recognizes and uplifts the talents of the people of Nagaland but also provides employment opportunities both directly and indirectly all over the state. He also disclosed that PMA has plans to have a film academy in the near future which will comprise of all kinds of technical and practical education like acting courses, photography, videography, etc.
During the press conference, PMA members called upon the audience who has got talents in Singing/Dancing/Comedy/ Art/ Acting/Drama/Creative innovation/ Musical Instrumental/etc to participate in the mega Talent Hunt Contest.
M Kikon, MD of School of Music also added that the PMA struggling to recognize the hidden and unexplored talents of the people of Nagaland will be futile if individuals do not come forward and help the industry.
