Dimapur, March 17 (EMN): Dimapur-based Pinnacle Skills training institute introduced Goods & Services Tax (GST) accounts assistant course at a programme held at Westcity conference hall, DC court junction, Dimapur, on March 16.
GS Paul, assistant commissioner of GST, Government of India, and Wochamo Odyuo, additional commissioner of taxes, Government of Nagaland, were present on the occasion as special guests.

Speaking at the programme, Wochamo Odyuo, while appreciating the efforts of Pinnacle Skills, encouraged commerce graduates to take advantage of the course. Odyuo pointed that about 10,000 businesses have done GST registration in the state but just about 50% are filing returns on a monthly average. He was of the view that knowledgeable GST executives would help fill the gap and help traders file returns.

GS Paul, dwelling into the technicalities of GST filing, stated that the course would be a good foundation course and help executives become GST practitioners.

Pinnacle Skills’ chief executive, Dr. Yan Murry, while speaking at the occasion, stated that the course endeavours to develop GST executives to help businesses file their GST returns with ease. He stated that the 100 hours course duration would be introduced in
Dimapur and Kohima.
