Pfutsero ward chairman, GB unions conduct surprise inspection of govt. departments

DIMAPUR — For the welfare of the citizens of Pfutsero town, the Pfutsero Town Ward Chairman Union and Pfutsero Town GB Union conducted a surprise inspection of various departments on May 7.

According to a press release, during the inspection, some departments were found to be smoothly functioning, with proper maintenance of staff attendance, execution of required work, well-organised offices, and effective service delivery to the people.

However, some departments were found to be functioning below expectations, with poorly maintained offices and irregularities among heads of departments and employees. Additionally, some departments cited various reasons and grievances for their lack of productivity.

The Pfutsero Town Ward Chairman Union and the Pfutsero Town GB Union appealed to all concerned heads of departments to strive for the betterment of the people. They emphasised that citizens are adversely affected by the poor actions and decisions of the departments.

The two unions requested that the concerned heads of departments consider these matters and focus on ensuring the smooth functioning of offices and delivering appropriate services to citizens.
