Peren district administration launches BBBP theme song

Dimapur, Oct. 21 (EMN): The Peren district administration in collaboration with Jalukie Town Baptist Church officially launched the Beti Badhao Beti Pachao (BBBP) theme song on October 18, at Jalukie Town Baptist Church.

Nodal officer of BBBP and EAC Ngwalwa town, Rumbemo Kithan in his short speech stated that the aim of launching the theme song was to make people aware of the campaign and to uplift women, as music speaks a million words. Kithan added that the desire and goodwill of women are proclaimed in the theme song, to show that the world needs more contribution from women in the society.

The song that speaks about positive transformation of society was composed and released by singer/songwriter Nangkamlak.
