NWA invites free style wrestlers for selection trials

Kohima, Oct. 6 (EMN): Nagaland Wrestling Association (NWA) has invited all interested senior men free style wrestlers for a selection trial to be held on October 11, 2021 at Indira Gandhi Stadium (IGS), Kohima.

The Information and Publicity Secretary, NWA, C Theyo informed that the selected players shall represent the State at the Senior Men Free Style, Uttar Pradesh (UP) from November 11th to the 13th, 2021.

In this regard it stated that ‘any interested individual from any tribe can attend the selection trail’, wherein selection will be made on the following categories- 57 kg, 61 kg, 65 kg, 70 kg, 74 kg, 79 kg, 86 kg, 92 kg and 97 kg below and 125 kg above.

Further, the NWA also directed all the intending wrestlers to give their participation confirmation to any of the NWA executive officials on the following contact no. 9436403938 or 9366932052 on or before October 9, 2021 for necessary arrangement.
