NSF to conclude 75th year celebration programme on Oct. 29

Dimapur, Oct. 26 (EMN): The Naga Students’ Federation (NSF) has informed that the culmination programme of its 75th year celebration would be held on October 29 at Naga Solidarity Park in Kohima from 9 am on the theme ‘Call to oneness.’

An update from the federation stated that the event would be graced by Nagaland Chief Minister, Neiphiu Rio, as the special guest, while Lowangcha Wanglat, former minister of Home and Finance, government of Arunachal Pradesh, would be the guest of honour. It added that leaders of the North East Students’ Organisation (NESO) and its units have confirmed their participation in the event.

It stated that the event would witness a plethora of cultural presentations from various Naga tribes cutting across the artificial boundaries. It added that a team from the Naga self administered zone in Myanmar is also set to display vibrant culture during the celebration.

Meanwhile, the convenor and members of the organising committee along with the president and colleagues of NSF have invited all its senior leaders, well-wishers and the Naga people to the celebration.
