Responding to the press statement of Isak Sumi, PRO NSCN-K dated 1st March, 2015 questioning the actions of Naga Army who has punished three of our former cadres namely, Manshah, Kepwang and Honkai all from Wangla Village in Mon district for indulging in anti national activities despite several warnings.
It is to clarify to the Naga people that, punishment of such nature are unwillingly forced upon us as they continue to defy and challenge, posing a serious concern to peace and tranquillity in that areas. The three habitual offenders where duly released on 23/02/2015 after signing the bond of agreement in the presence of their relatives, the Wangla village Angh, Chairman and GB representatives. They were released with the conditions that;
1. They shall not involve in any anti-national activities
2. They shall not involve in any anti-social activities
3. They shall not join to any reactionary forces/groups in the future
4. And that, they shall remain home arrest for the period of two years.
For the default of the signed agreement, witnesses by the village Ang, Chairman, GB and parents, NSCN/GPRN may initiate any actions or may impose Rs. Five lacs as fine.
It is to apprise Mr. Isak Sumi that, unless he is protecting and encouraging the ever mushrooming of thugs in the Naga society, one shall be more careful before jumping into self righteous and hollow conclusion.
