Dimapur, March 5 (EMN): The Ato Kilonser of the NSCN (IM), Th. Muivah, who was admitted to the Christian Institute of Health Sciences and Research (CIHSR) hospital in Dimapur, is out of danger and doing fine, updated MIP of NSCN/GPRN.

The update informed that Muivah was admitted to CIHSR due to a minor health issue attributed to indigestion and underwent a minor surgery successful on Saturday.

“NSCN/GPRN is thankful to the CIHSR and well-wishers for the love and prayers exhibited to ensure that he is safe. Let us continue to pray and care for him as he continues to be under the care of the CIHSR until his discharge. Let us all give praise to our Lord, our God, because with Him all things are possible,” read the gratitude note from the group.

The 88-year-old NSCN (IM) leader was on Friday airlifted from Hebron to Dimapur Airport, from where he was taken to CIHSR for further medical examination.

A doctor from the hospital had earlier told Eastern Mirror that Muivah was stable though “it is too early to say anything further clinically” as medical tests and “investigation” are still going on.

The doctor added that he might have to stay in the hospital for a few days.

It’s the second time Muivah had been admitted to CIHSR in less than 10 months over health complications.
