NSCN/GPRN leaders meet government of India’s Interlocutor for Naga peace
Dimapur, Oct. 7 (EMN): The NSCN/GPRN led by its leaders Gen. Niki Sumi (Retd.) and Ino. Starson Lamkang Naga met with the government of India’s Interlocutor for Naga peace talks A K Mishra, informed the group on Thursday.
The group conveyed to the interlocutor about its commitment to Naga peace talks and that it had revived the ceasefire agreement, “heeding to the clarion call of the Nagas for peace and inclusive and amicable political solution”.
It also reiterated its stand to “go by the aspirations and wishes of the Naga people” and not impede the Naga peace talks as long as it is towards people’s desire for inclusive and amicable political solution.
“Naga people’s aspirations and wishes will be the guiding principle and objective of NSCN/GPRN,” read the press statement.
