North East Zone Shooting Championship from Aug 9

Dimapur, August 18: The 4th North East Zone Shooting Championship 2016 in small Bore Rifle/Pistol (NR) will be held at Shooting Range, Dimapur from August 29 to September 3, according to a press release from the National Rifle Association of India.
The press release informed that shooters from Paramilitary forces, AI, ONGC and other affiliated units of NRAI, who are residents or posted in the northeast states will be eligible to represent their unit or state. It also informed that the championship was open to shooters belonging to northeast states and shooters from other states were not permitted to participate in the championship in any match. The entries for other northern states have been requested to send through their respective associations or units only. Those who are below 21 years and 18 years of age as on 31st December 2016 would be considered under the category of juniors (1996 onwards) and Youth (1999 onwards) for the Championship.
The registration form is also available on the website www.thenrai.in which could be completed with the payment of Rs. 150/- as an entry fee. It can be paid by cash or by bank draft to the organisers before August 25. Late entries will be accepted with triple entry fees until August 28.
