No fresh Covid-19 cases reported

Nagaland’s Covid-19 tally remains the same at 11,929 as no fresh cases were recorded in the state on Saturday.

An update from the minister of Health and Family Welfare, S Pangnyu Phom, informed that ’no positive cases of Covid-19 were detected on Saturday, while five positive patients: Dimapur-4 and Kiphire-1’.

According to information provided by the Health department, Nagaland currently has 186 active Covid-19 cases, out of which 160 are asymptomatic, 18 mild, three moderate on oxygen, one severe on oxygen and four on ventilators. The state has also recorded 11,533 recoveries and 79 deaths, out of which 10 have been ruled ‘not Covid-related’.

In regard to district-wise distribution of active Covid-19 cases, Dimapur leads with 73 cases, followed by Kohima-63, Mokokchung-42, Peren-4, Phek-3 and Kiphire-1, while Wokha, Zunheboto, Mon, Tuensang and Longleng have zero cases so far.
