Dimapur, June 22 (EMN): Naga National Council/ Federal Government of Nagaland (NNC/FGN) has nullified all administrative orders pertaining to Konyak and decided to function under the direct control of its Kedahge/ Kedallo.
The decision to this effect was taken at the meeting of council of kilonsers held on June 21, wherein it discussed on problems plaguing the Konyak region. This was stated in a press release issued by the ministry of rali wali affairs on Saturday.
The house has prohibited collection of any tax, financial transfers and suspension of all activities in the region till the regional leacy hoho is properly constituted and made fully functional.
In this regard, a three-member team comprising of its kilonser TV Litsaba as convenor, kilonser Tingloi Konyak and cabinet secretary Ghuvishe
Zhimomi as members were entrusted with the responsibility of conducting the election of the leacies within a period of one month, ie on or before July 31.
The house also resolved to prohibit election/appointment of drunkards, addicts, anti-socials and individuals of doubtful characters to any post of the government and the Naga Army.
It further resolved that Konyak regional leacy hoho would be constituted under the direct supervision of the kedallo, killo kilonser, lota kilonser, law and justice kilonser and the cabinet secretary.
