NFR to organise ‘Rozgar Mela’ in Guwahati on Oct. 22

The first tranche of new appointments will consist of 75000 vacancies

Dimapur, Oct. 20 (EMN): As a part of the ‘Rozgar Mela’ mission, new candidates will be offered appointment letters at various locations of the country and the candidates selected will be addressed by the Prime Minister Narendra Modi virtually on Oct. 22 at 11 am nationwide on these designated locations.

An update from the Northeast Frontier Railway (EMN) issued on Oct. 20 informed that the ‘Rozgar Mela’ is an initiative undertaken by the government of India, towards the recruitment process for filling up vacancies at various central government departments including the Railway department. The first tranche of new appointments is said to consist 75000 vacancies and the Ministry of Railways is one the contributors to the initial tranche of appointees.

As part of the Prime Minister’s recruitment mission, the organisation of Guwahati leg of the programme has been entrusted to NFR for which a programme will be at Rang Bhavan Cultural Hall located at Maligaon in Guwahati.

Central Minister of Ports, Shipping & Waterways and Ayush, Sarbananda Sonowal will be handing over the appointment letters to the newly selected candidates and will be assisted by other senior officials of various government departments, at the mission programme to be conducted at Guwahati.

Around 200 new recruits from various government departments including Railways, CBDT, BSF, CISF, etc. will be handed over the appointment letters in this programme.

The update further informed that the prime minister has instructed to line out 10 lakh employment opportunities within 18 months in various central government departments.

The 1st phase of recruitment will be organised on Oct. 22. This initiative will be creating a scope for the aspirants who are looking forward to join the central government services. This programme aims to fulfil the government’s commitment towards generating job opportunities for the youth and ensuring the masses welfare of the country, the update further informed.
