NFR observes 64th railway week

Dimapur, April 13 (EMN): The Northeast frontier Railway (NFR) Construction Organisation on Saturday observed the 64th railway week at Rang Bhawan in Maligaon.

General Manager Construction Organisation N K Prasad, who was the chief guest of the event, shared the achievements of previous years and the ongoing projects. He also mentioned future projects to be undertaken by construction organisation.

Chief administrative Officer (Construction) A K Yadav informed about various projects being undertaken by the organisation in entire NE region. He cited last year’s record breaking performance in completion of the Bogibeel Bridge Project in particular which was inaugurated by the Prime Minister on December 25 last.

During the function, 69 individuals and 17 groups were awarded for their exemplary and outstanding performances.

A group cash prize was also awarded to the officers and staff for their dedicated and tireless services in completing the India’s longest rail-cum-road bridge and Asia’s 2nd longest rail-cum-road , the Bogibeel Bridge Project.
