‘New life’, a bilingual film released in Dimapur

Dimapur, Nov. 15 (EMN): ‘New life’ (Notun Jevan) a bilingual film presented by Pooja Film Production was released by the president of Military Engineering Service (MES) Contractor and Supplier, Dimapur, N. Phutolu Achumi (Domel) at Tourist Lodge Dimapur on Nov. 15.

The film would be available in both English and Nagamese and is produced and directed by Ajay Kumar.

Asen Jamir and Nemchemyala Longkumer are the leading actresses of the film.

During the release, Achumi said that Nagaland has many talented youths but due to lack of support and guidance they fail to succeed.

Achumi also acknowledged Ajay Kumar for providing platform for the Naga youths to showcase and promote their talent for so many years and added that through Ajay Kumar’s work few Naga lads had the opportunity to work in the Bollywood film as well.

Speaking on the occasion the film producer and director, Ajay Kumar said that the film took over three and half years to be completed but the film released date had to be postponed by nine months because of the pandemic.

Notun Jevan is the 75th movie of the Dimapur based production house.
