After Tiddim Road Atheltic Union (TRAU) Kwakeithel and SSB football team, NEROCA Sangakpham football team also sailed into the semi finals of the ongoing 57th Sir Churachand Singh KCSI, CBE memorial football tournament 2013 popularly known as CC Meet in Imphal today. In their quarter final match this afternoon, NEROCA beat SSU Singjamei by a margin of 3-0 goals at Mapal Kangjeibung ground. NEROCA Jersey number 14 Kh Satish completed his hat-trick in the second half of the match.
In tomorrow’s quarter final match, State league champion NISA Thangmeiband, Imphal will play Reitlang FC Mizoram. It may be noted that altogether 29 football teams are participating in the ongoing tourney. For the first time in the history of football, a local TV channel ISTV begins to telecast live the quarter final match.
