Nearly 15 lakh doses of Covid-19 vaccine administered in Nagaland so far

As many as 14, 96, 853 doses of Covid-19 vaccines have been administered in Nagaland as on February 10.

The data furnished by the department of Health and Family Welfare stated total of 32, 634 doses of Covishield have been administered to the health care workers (HCW), out of which 16016 were first dose, 13602 second dose, and 2936 precautionary dose.

Meanwhile, 1, 22, 987 doses of Covishield have been administered to frontline workers (FLWs), wherein,61041 were first dose, 48862 second dose and 13084 precautionary dose.

For 45 years and above category, 8, 11, 870 doses have been administered, out of which 4,03, 567 were Covishield (218687 first dose and 184880 second dose); and 1,548 were Sputnik V (808 first dose and 740 second dose).

The update added that 1640 precautionary doses (vaccine unspecified) have been administered to people in this age group.

In the 18-44 years group, 8,80,301 doses have been administered, out of which 8,74,978 were Covishied (5,06,787 first dose and 3,68,191 second dose) and 5,323 Sputnik V doses (2,909 first dose and 2,414 second dose).

A total dose of 54, 256 Covaxin has been administered to the age group of 15-18 years in the state so far. Dimapur leads in the number of beneficiaries with 18,657 doses, followed by Kohima (9,227), Mon (6232), Mokokchung (4933), Tuensang (3538), Phek (2767), Wokha (2279), Zunheboto (2092), Longleng (1636), Peren (1568) and Kiphire (1327).
