NDPP Zunheboto gets new office building

Dimapur, Sep. 15 (EMN): Minister of Agriculture and Cooperation, G Kaito Aye, inaugurated the new office building of NDPP Zunheboto region on Wednesday in Zunheboto town.

Speaking at the inaugural programme, Kaito thanked the chief minister of Nagaland, Neiphiu Rio, and the party president, Chingwang Konyak, for making the office building a reality for the people of Zunheboto district. He encouraged the people to make NDPP a strong party and to vote for more party MLAs in the coming elections, a DIPR report stated on Wednesday.

Stating that the legislators are working tirelessly towards the Naga issue with the government of India, he sought the public to work together for an early settlement. He further encouraged the people to not only seek government jobs but practice farming stating that the government has many schemes and projects for encouraging farming.

Advisor of School Education, KT Sukhalu, informed that the party legislators are working hard for the people and to strengthen the party. He requested the public to lend every possible effort to make the party strong.

Also speaking in the programme, advisor of Food and civil supplies, LMCP and Taxes, Pukhayi Assumi, stated that inaugurating a new grand office building would be useless and meaningless if the party men do not work sincerely for the people. He, therefore, encouraged them to work with full vigour for the people.

The programme was chaired by Khehoshe H Yepthomi, president of NDPP Zunheboto region, wherein he thanked all the rank and files of the party workers for always working together and strengthening the party. He also thanked the chief minister, Neiphiu Rio, and party president, Chingwang Konyak, for making the office building a reality.

He further thanked G Kaito Aye, KT Sukhalu and Pukhayi Assumi for coming together and giving their best efforts for the completion of the office building.

Earlier, the dedicatory prayer was said by Rev. Dr. Daniel Chishi, pastor of Zunheboto Town Sumi Baptist Church.
