Naturally Nagaland organises training on sale optimisation

Dimapur, Nov. 18 (EMN): Naturally Nagaland organised a two-day training in order to facilitate thorough learnings on e-marketing and related business activities which would optimise the sale of products.

The two-day crash course on Tally and GST was organised for the officials of line departments at NBHM’s MUC, 6th Mile in Dimapur from November 17 and 18.

According to an update, the resource persons for the training program were faculty members of NIIT Dimapur Rishav Sethi, Rupali Chakraboty and Bharti Khersa. 14 officials from the department of Duda, Horticulture, Women Resource Development, Nagaland Bamboo Development Agency, Nagaland Bio-Resource Mission, NEPED, Nagaland Beekeeping and Honey Mission and Nagaland Handloom and Handcrafts Development Cooperation, attended t he training.

Khuvozoyi, deputy team leader of Nagaland Beekeeping and Honey Mission shared that this was the second round of training being organised by ‘Naturally Nagaland’ and added that it was a good platform for the line departments. It said that he encouraged the trainees to responsibly take the learnings from the training programmes as they would be the ones responsible for marketing of finished and processed products. “The officials selected for this training programme should grab the opportunity and become well versed with all matters relating to accounting and marketing,” it read.

It may be mentioned ‘Naturally Nagaland’ was launched in 2019 with the objective to facilitate marketing of finished and processed products of Nagaland which are being promoted by various government departments, missions, NGOs, SHGs and private entrepreneurs.
“For all such finished products ‘Naturally Nagaland’ is a brand developed by the line departments and missions along with NGOs and private entrepreneurs in order to regulate the pricing and also to control the quality of all such products from Nagaland,” it informed.
