Nagaland’s Covid-19 tally breaches 30000-mark; 31 new cases detected on Monday

Covid-19 cases have breached 30,000-mark in Nagaland with 31 new infections being detected on Monday.

The state’s Covid tally currently stands at 30,003, while active cases have dropped to 767.

The Health and Family Welfare Department updated that out of the 31 new positive cases detected on Monday, 15 were in Dimapur, 10 in Mokokchung, four in Kohima, and two in Phek.

The state’s death toll remained the same at 603 as no fatalities were reported in the last 24 hours, while the state’s recoveries rose to 27,735 with 70 Covid-19 patients having recuperated.

On Monday, 27 patients recovered in Mokokchung, 16 in Kohima, 10 each in Dimapur and Wokha, three in Kiphire, and two each in Mon and Peren. 

Nagaland currently has 767 active Covid-19 cases, out of which 570 are asymptomatic, 139 mild, 16 moderate on oxygen, 22 severe on oxygen, 10 in ICU without ventilator and 10 in ICU on ventilator.

In regard to district-wise distribution of active Covid-19 cases Dimapur leads with 295 patients, followed by Kohima with 181, 158 in Mokokchung, 30 in Phek, 28 each in Zunheboto and Mon, 17 in Wokha, 10 in Longleng, nine in Kiphire, seven in Tuensang, and four in Peren.
