Nagaland Zoological Park reopens to visitors

Dimapur, Oct. 25 (EMN): The Nagaland Zoological Park, Rangapahar will be reopened to visitors from Today, October 26, months after it was closed due to the second wave of coronavirus.

An update from Director of Nagaland Zoological Park, Dr. C Zupeni Tsanglai informed that the zoo administration will allow visitors to enter the park by implmenting the norms and protocols laid down by the central as well as the state governments due in view of the Covid-19 pandemic.

“Social distancing and wearing of masks is mandatory while entering the park among others. Visitors are requested to coperate with the zoo staff during entry as protocols are required to be followed,” it said.

“Visitors are allowed to bring their own drinking water; the bottle if disposable one, shall be disposed into the waste bins provided at locations inside the park. The visitors are requested to bear inconveniences during entry inside the park until the pandemic is over and normalcy returns,” it added.
