Nagaland: Sukhalu inaugurates Trojans Cup in Zunheboto
Dimapur, Dec. 9 (EMN): Advisor for School Education and SCERT, KT Sukhalu, inaugurated the 3rd edition of the Trojan’s Cup Open T20 cricket tournament, organised by Trojans XX Club on December 8 at Zunheboto public ground.
The advisor in his address encouraged the players to maintain discipline and good health in order to excel in sports, a DIPR report stated. Sukhalu also stated that since the Nagaland government was reeling under employment saturation, he encouraged the youths to venture into entrepreneurship and sports. He said the government is always ready to help the youngsters if they are sincere.
Altogether nine teams from different districts are participating in the tournament.
Earlier, Hekato Yepthomi delivered the presidential address and Toka Swu led the oath-taking. In the opening match, Wicket Wizards defeated Astrabarrys by two wickets.
