Nagaland reports 7 fresh Covid-19 cases, no deaths

Nagaland recorded seven fresh Covid-19 cases on Friday, taking the tally to 31,973, while active caseload declined to 167 with recuperation of 12 patients.

The state’s cumulative recoveries have increased to 30,064, while the death toll remained unchanged at 676 with no fatalities reported in the last 24 hours.

According to an update from the department of Health and Family Welfare, three positive cases were reported in Dimapur and four in Kohima, while seven from Dimapur, three in Kohima and one each in Mokokchung, and Phek recovered.

Out of 167 active cases in the state, 136 are asymptomatic, 20 mild, three moderate on oxygen, four severe on oxygen, and four in ICU on ventilator.

In terms of distribution of active cases, Dimapur has 89, 27 in Kohima, 26 in Mokokchung, six each in Wokha and Kiphire, four each in Tuensang and Mon, two each in Phek and Peren and one in  Zunheboto, while Longleng is currently Covid-free.
