Nagaland reports 31 new Covid-19 cases, 1 death

Dimapur, Sep. 22 (EMN): Nagaland reported 31 new Covid-19 cases on Wednesday, taking the state’s tally to 30,990 and active caseload to 456.
The state’s death toll has increased to with one more fatality reported in the last 24 hours, while 35 recoveries pushed the cumulative recoveries to 28,913.
According to the department of Health and Family Welfare, 19 new Covid cases were reported in Dimapur, five in Mokokchung, three each in Kohima and Phek, and one in Peren in the last 24 hours.
Out of the 35 recoveries, 14 were in Mokokchung, 11 in Kohima, seven in Dimapur, two in Kiphire, and one in Phek.
Nagaland currently has 459 active Covid-19 cases, out of which 356 are asymptomatic, 79 mild, three moderate on oxygen, 12 severe on oxygen, six in ICU without ventilator, and three in ICU on ventilator.
In terms of district-wise distribution of active cases, Dimapur leads with 219, followed by Kohima with 101, Mokokchung- 45, Tuensang- 37, Phek- 25, Wokha- 12, Kiphire- 8, and four each in Peren, Zunheboto, and Longleng, while Mon is currently Covid-free.
