Nagaland reports 3 new COVID-19 cases

Dimapur, Aug. 8 (EMN): The number of active COVID-19 cases in Nagaland declined to 54 with 11 recoveries – two each in Kohima, Dimapur, Mokokchung and Mon,  and one each in Phek and Tuensang — registered on Monday.

The state’s COVID tally increased to 35,835, with three positive cases logged during the same period.

The death toll remained unchanged at 767 with no fresh fatality reported during the last 24 hours.

Out of the 54 active cases, 38 are asymptomatic, 15 mild and one moderate on oxygen. In terms of district-wise distribution of cases, Dimapur has 19, Kohima 11, Wokha eight, Longleng six, three each in Mokokchung and Zunheboto, two  in Tuensang, and one each in Phek and Kiphire.
